Aaron Ford
Economy
On the economy, the campaign frames Nevada's high unemployment and slower tourism recovery as the central problem it would fix, and on housing specifically pledges to push back on tariffs it says are driving up construction costs, crack down on institutional investors pricing families out of neighborhoods, and ease municipal permitting to encourage building on vacant land.
Health
On health care, the campaign says it would crack down on pharmacy benefit managers that keep drug-discount savings rather than passing them to patients, stand up a medical-debt relief program, and pursue price gouging and fraudulent medical billing.
Education
As a former teacher, Ford commits to fighting federal cuts to education funding and says he would sue to protect the roughly $1 billion Nevada receives annually in federal education money.
Infrastructure
On energy, the platform opposes new "demand charges" that raise household costs, prioritizes clean and affordable power with a stronger in-state energy workforce, and would require data centers to bring their own clean energy, grid infrastructure, and water rather than drawing on ratepayer-funded capacity — including holding back tax breaks until data centers show a real commitment to the state.
